When a customer sends a part number or model, select the text and open FORKORA search results instantly. Web chats use the normal right-click menu; the WeChat desktop app uses a safe global shortcut.

Compatibility

The extension supports Chrome / Edge and works with WeChat Web, WhatsApp Web, Telegram Web, and other browser-based chats. The WeChat desktop app is not a browser page, so the Windows helper does not replace normal right-click; use F9 or Ctrl+Right-click.

Install the Browser Extension

Works in Chrome and Edge for browser-based chat tools.

Chrome

  1. Download and unzip the ZIP file.
  2. Open chrome://extensions/.
  3. Turn on Developer mode.
  4. Choose Load unpacked.
  5. Select the unzipped browser-extension folder.

Edge

  1. Download and unzip the ZIP file.
  2. Open edge://extensions/.
  3. Turn on Developer mode.
  4. Choose Load unpacked.
  5. Select the browser-extension folder.

Install the Windows Helper

Use this fallback for the WeChat desktop app.

Install and Start

  1. Download ForkliftPartsSearchHelper-1.0.15.exe.
  2. If an older helper is already running, right-click its tray icon and choose Exit first.
  3. Double-click to start helper 1.0.15; the helper stays in the system tray.
  4. Select a part number in WeChat.
  5. Press F9 or Ctrl+Right-click.

Safety Notes

The helper uses Windows Raw Input and does not install a low-level mouse hook. For Ctrl+Right-click, it briefly closes the app's context menu before copying. It searches only newly copied text and never falls back to old clipboard contents. It does not upload data. Normal right-click behavior is not changed. To exit, right-click the tray icon and choose Exit.

The EXE is not code-signed. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, verify the file before running it.
